Visit Lake Tahoe in the winter and if you're a skiier or a snowboarder, or at least a snow lover, you're in for a treat. There are so many ski resorts in the area, and many beautiful places to stay. Last time I was in the area, I stayed at a lovely lodge with great service and comfortable suites. Best of all, it was right around the corner from Heavenly!
