The San Leandro Marina is another great spot to visit for a day out in the sun. There's a park, picnic and barbeque spots, a trail by the water, and plenty of grass for all your outdoor sports. Also in that area are restaurants and a driving range. San Leandro is also the city next to Oakland and not far from San Francisco, so there should be plenty to do.
