Situated right on the Metra's Union Pacific Northwest train line, Arlington Park is a quick, easy train ride away from downtown Chicago. As one of the top thoroughbred racetracks in the nation, spending an afternoon at Arlington Park is great way to relax, enjoy the excitement of races, and maybe make a few bucks along the way.

Not really knowing what to expect when I went for the first time, upon entering I was amazed at the beautifully well-kept facilities. From the flowers and landscaping to the majestic thoroughbreds, everything within the park is truly a sight for sore eyes.

And I’ve found that Arlington’s atmosphere has something to offer for everyone. I’ve been with people that don’t want to bet at all, and they just enjoy the sunshine and company. I’ve been with people that are only interested in betting, and they enjoy the thrill of winning (and losing). No matter the circumstances, we’ve always left satisfied.
