Spending the weekend in a house on East Cliff Drive, we passed a good deal of the time on the beach right across the street. The weather could have been better, but we were thankful it didn't rain. While the beach was definitely not packed, there were enough surfers and skim boarder to keep us entertained.

Walking along the beach for only a short amount of time, we came to the end of the sand and the beginning of the rocks. They were big enough to stop children and elderly from continuing on, but not strapping young college students. They rocky portion of the beach turned out to be a lot more fun than one might imagine. With the invention of the "rock game", we were able to amuse ourselves for far longer than we should have, because it all ended with everyone getting soaked!
