At the base of the Fuji Mountain is the Five Lake Region. Those who stop by should visit at least one of the five notable lakes of the area: Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Yamanaka, Lake Sai, Lake Shoji, and Lake Motosu. From here, you can get a clear view of the mountain, and set up a base camp for climbing up the mountain, or you can just enjoy other activities such as fishing and hiking.
