Made famous by the movie Entrapment and always a prominent feature of any picture taken of the Kuala Lumpur skyline, the Petronas Twin Towers are the pride and joy of Malaysia. And if the crowds of tourists underneath the magnificent architecture everyday are any indication a trip to the city is never complete without at least a snapshot of the towers. The Twin Towers are lit up spectacularly at night and hence most people, including myself, prefer to capture the building in its nighttime glory. My picture was taken from a moving car, and therefore the quality isn’t brilliant. Luckily that doesn’t detract from the beauty of the Twin Towers.

Unfortunately it is quite difficult to actually visit the inside of the Twin Towers as the majority of the building is taken up by office space. Only a select number of tourists during specified times are allowed to go up the building. Fortunately, as the Twin Towers are located in the heart of the city there are plenty of other attractions in the vicinity. Suria KLCC, one of the most popular shopping malls in KL, is just one of the many places to visit in the area, and is conveniently one of the stops on the LRT(the local monorail).
