A popular dining option that attracts both locals and tourists alike, the Lemon Garden’s lunch and dinner buffets offers a delicious sampling of worldwide flavors. The sumptuous spread includes a salad bar complete with cold seafood, sashimi and sushi, as well as Western, Indian, Chinese, Malay and Italian food stations. And while these offerings are more than enough to satisfy, some room must be saved for dessert, which I think is the best part of the buffet. Like the rest of the buffet, the dessert bar caters to a wide range of preferences and taste buds offering the customary ice-cream, fruits, tarts and cakes as well as some local delicacies such as Ais Kacang(shaved ice and beans) and the decadent chocolate fountain.

The buffets are reasonably priced considering the variety of the spread, with dinner costing around RM100 ($25) and lunch around RM50 ($12). While the atmosphere at dinnertime is more formal the quality of the buffet is more or less the same as lunchtime, making lunch a much more economical option. For those who prefer lighter fare, the café also has an Ala Carte menu offering Western and Local dishes. The café is one of the many restaurants in the Shangri-La Hotel in downtown Kuala Lumpur.
