We drove to Monterey Bay for Memorial Weekend, initially to check out the snorkelling, but chickened out after visiting the aquarium. We also went to Pebble Beach (which is only a 10 minute drive from the town center) via "The 17 mile drive" and it was a really cool drive especially round evening time. The drive was good, the scenery serene and the (world famous) golf courses equally impressive!
