I went on a whirlwind tour of Europe last summer and it was pretty much amazing. Unfortunately, since it was one of those standard tour bus affairs(with professional travel consultant, inc. a tour group that caters to chinese-american families/couples) I basically hit all the major tourist-y spots and missed out on all the amazing little quirks of the various places I visited. We flew into Europe on Singapore Airlines (an awesome airline with delicious food and great service) and landed in Frankfurt, Germany
