On our way back from Italy, we spent the night in this beautiful southern Swiss town of Lugano. It was still Italian as was Golino on the way down to Italy. Jasper is a jewel in the Rockies. A crystal clean serenity against the awesome mountain sky. I had spent every summer of my life here until work took me east and I know find it increasingly difficult to get away from my responsibilities. This picture makes me wonder why.
Lijiang City

Lijiang City refers to an administrative division comprising of urban and rural areas in northwestern Yunnan Province,China. Its population is 1,100,000. The famous "Lijiang old town" (as it iscommonly known) is more correctly called the Dayan old town.
