Fuji-Q Highlands is an exciting amusement park situated right next to Mt. Fuji, and it's a great place to stop for some fun and thrills if you're in the area. The park measures 124 acres and consists of 33 different rides, ranging from slower-paced kiddie fare to looping roller coasters.

The Fujiyama is the trademark ride of Fuji-Q Highlands. Nearly 260 feet tall, when the ride opened in 1996 it became the world's tallest roller coaster. Although it lost it's title 4 years later, it still remains a remarkeably tall and thrilling ride.
