Stanford had a pre-Independence Day fireworks show on July 3 to the "sizzling" sounds of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Some shots of the main approach to Stanford\'s campus. Palm Drive is the main entry to the campus down University Avenue throug the center of Palo Alto. Stanford Stadium

Between the 2005 and the 2006 football seasons, Stanford Stadium underwent a huge renovation. Old and outdated, the 94,000 capacity bowl was replaced with a $90 million, 50,000 capacity stadium that offers a much closer gameday experience.
