Mountains, I forgot about them. China's natural defensive against the marauding Moguls. They are also good for keeping heavy tricycles at bay too. Pathetic progress is all I can say. lake tahoe

We drove to Reno via Lake Tahoe last thanksgiving and stopped over for a couple of days. It really was awesome. This is the time right before the snow blankets the mountains and ski slopes so you can ride up on the gondolas and admire the scenery.These photos are at the Heavenly Ski resort. Be sure to take a jacket though!

A 300-year old Maronite Monastery built into a steep mountain. It is cut off from the outside world and the only way up is a trek on foot through the mountain.
