Take a trip to Monterey, CA. With the Monterey Bay Aquarium Visit the beautiful beach, restaurants, and wonderful sights. We didn't get a chance to see everything, but I'd say it's definitely worth a trip back there.

Near Cal Pol, San Luis Obispo is a beautiful beach! They have swings on the sand, a dock, and some cute boutiques. It's a great place for a daytrip or a barbeque. There's even some free parking if you get there early...
