Town Center (thumb) We drove to Reno via Lake Tahoe last thanksgiving and stopped over for a couple of days. It really was awesome. This is the time right before the snow blankets the mountains and ski slopes so you can ride up on the gondolas and admire the scenery.These photos are at the Heavenly Ski resort. Be sure to take a jacket though!

Lake Edith Canoe (thumb) Jasper is a jewel in the Rockies. A crystal clean serenity against the awesome mountain sky. I had spent every summer of my life here until work took me east and I know find it increasingly difficult to get away from my responsibilities. This picture makes me wonder why.
