The remains of the Ancient Roman theatre in Alexandria, Egypt. If you stand at a particular spot at the bottom of the theater, you can hear your voice echo all over the place...

A 300-year old Maronite Monastery built into a steep mountain. It is cut off from the outside world and the only way up is a trek on foot through the mountain.

Trinidad is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a quaint little town bustling with lots of rural activity. The spanish colonialists' influence is heavily visible throughout the town and can be seen in the architecture and lay out. It also has nice white sand beaches a couple of miles away from the town.

In my opinion, LA is one of three things - Hollywood, Downtown or the beaches. The financial district is pretty imposing although not in the same league as New York or Canary Wharf in London.

This is a southern coastal town in Cuba. It was recently named a UNESCO world heritage site too.
