The Gateway of India is the most famous monument in Bombay, and was erected as a triumphal arch in honor of King George V and Queen Mary when they visited India. Photos of Frere Hall in Karachi, Pakistan. This building is a remnant of the British Raj and stands in the middle of a public park coming down from Clifton Bridge towards downtown Karachi, just opposite the Marriott Hotel. These photos are from a room in the top floor of the Marriott.
