16-day whirlwind tour: day 5

On our fourth day in Europe, we drove south to Venice, Italy. It was very hot and crowded with delicious gelato on every corner. In Venice we walked through St. Mark&'s square and saw the Bridge of Sighs, Basilica, Doges’ Palace. We even toured a traditional glassblowing shop and took a Gondola ride.
