It was 10 years ago in the summer of 1997 that our family made our first trip outside the Philippines, and went on a a 12 hour flight to Hong Kong! We stayed at the Kowloon Panda hotel and had 4 days to tour around places and see the popular attractions. It was exciting because everything was a new experience, despite the fact that the entire feel of the Hong Kong environment at that time wasn't much different from the Philippines. Places we went to were:
1. Tsim Sha Tsui shopping area
2. Victoria Harbor
3. Po Lin Monastery
4. The old Clock Tower
5. Ocean Park
