Probably no other country in Europe has as many places of interest as Italy. Unless you plan your itinerary carefully, you might not be able to visit all the places of interest.

A bicycle tour in Italy may be your best choice to visit all the "must-see" places in the shortest possible time.

What to see:

Rome is the capital of the country and includes the Roman Forum, with its stunning series of ruined temples, the famous Colosseum, the Pantheon and St. Peter's Basilica.

Milan is the fashion capital of Italy. The city is also the birthplace of the painting by Leonardo da Vinci "Ultima Cena" (Last Supper), La Scala, the world of opera and the Gothic Cathedral.

The great architectural gem of Venice is undoubtedly Piazza San Marco. The Palace of the Doges - the Palazzo Ducale is an example of Gothic art Venetian.

The Grand Canal is, well, a grand canal lined with incredible houses and boats, it sets up on this waterway.

The best way to visit Venice is to stand in front of your hotel or hostel, determine what direction the tourist attractions lie and begin to cycle in the opposite direction.

The Italian lake-district is into the heart of a chain of rugged mountains (Alps), surrounded by fertile farmland and fields of flowers swinging gently.

It is an ideal place for tourists who want to go hiking, windsurfing or simply enjoy the beautiful scenery. The most famous are Lake Garda and Como.

When to travel:

The packages are billed differently during peak season and off season. Hotels in Rome charge more during Christmas, New Year, Easter and during other religious occasions. Prices are lower in the fall and early spring, but the weather can be a bit cooler. But this is the best time to make your reservation if you want to take advantage of low prices and face fewer crowd.

What to pack:

During the summer (July-August - September), you need light clothing, but remember to bring a sweater or a light jacket for the evenings where, especially at sea or on the mountain, the temperature can suddenly drop.

Spring (March-April - May) and autumn (September-October - November), are characterized by unstable weather and often require a system of layers of clothing.

Always wear comfortable shoes, get ready for a large number of walks, the cities after all were not built for cars.
