Located on the Sinai Peninsula along the Red Sea, Dahab is the perfect retreat for the young backpacker crowd. The resort town has a much more laid back feel to it than the bright lights and crowds of its resort neighbor, Sharm al-Sheikh. Nesima Hotel in particular is a wondeful place to stay that offers its guests the opportunity to create an individual itinerary combining accomodation, diving, excursions, and transfers. The hotel staff is very welcoming and attentive. Located 90 miles north of the Sharm al-Sheikh international airport, I highly reccomend Dahab for those seeking out a laidback and relaxed holiday.
