Bisindila is a town located 8 hours south of Cairo. Its inhabitants still do not enjoy the luxury of electricity and hot water. It is divorced from the country's political system, and is run by the local "Mukhtar", a man whose family has owned the greater part of the land in Bisindila for four generations.
