You read about Ann Frank, you've seen Van Gogh. Well, this is where you can pay your homage to them who celebrated humanity. This city is clean and modern with excellent public transportation. Visit the Van Gogh Museum and to see his life work. Sneak into little Ann Frank's house and relive her tragic, yet innocently enlightening life. This is the city for solemn reflection....... at least in the morning...  

 When evening comes, Amsterdam is truely the land of opportunities and freedom. This is where you can sip your locally brewed Heineken beer with pot in your hand and naked ladies dancing before you. Dont worry, it's all legal. Visit the Red Light District, watch the night shows, but remember to watch the afternoon free shows they throw at you. Makes you stop whining and appreciate beauty more..

A word of advice is to be careful of the pot they sell at coffee shops. They are uncannily potent compared to their American counterparts. With just 10 Euro, i almost never got down from my cloud 9..

 No wonder you'll see so many happy people in Amsterdam!
