Stanford had a pre-Independence Day fireworks show on July 3 to the "sizzling" sounds of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. We skipped the concert, but camped out on the Oval with hundreds of other people after dark to witness the fireworks. The evening was slightly cool, but still muggy, in typical July fashion.
