On our 5th day, we traveled to Florence, Italy (aka the cradle of the Renaissance). We ambled through Santa Croce, Signoria Square, The Duomo (Santa Maria del Fiore) all on foot.

We explored Paris, hitting all of the major monuments (l'arc de triumph, le tour eiffel, etc). In addition, we shopped at Gallerie Lafayette. It was a magnificent shopping complex with every brand of perfume, clothing, makeup, etc. My one warning is that Gallerie Lafayette is definitely not low budget, if you walk in, be prepared to spend [...]

We took a train through the Euro tunnel to London. In London we did a brisk city tour, and got to see Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral and the British Museum. On our last few days in Europe, we toured a bit more of Brussels before returning to Frankfurt for a city tour and our flight home.

we took a ship from England to Amsterdam, Holland. There, we took a lovely river boat tour of the city, before visiting a tourist trap where they demonstrated the making of wooden shoes. From Holland, we traveled to Brussels.
